Bay Hill
Bay Hill is open only to members and registered guests of the Bay Hill Club & Lodge, but you can get on it at Baylinks® Golf! Situated along the shores of the Butler Chain of Lakes in Orlando, Florida, Bay Hill is home to the Arnold Palmer Invitational on the PGA Tour®. It was designed by Arnold Palmer.
Bethpage Black
As many of our Long Island, New York born patrons know, public golf does not get any better or more challenging than this. The Black Course (reminiscent of Darth Vader) was the site of the United States Open Championship in 2002 and 2009. It was designed by master golf course architect A.W. Tillinghast.
Cabo Del Sol, The Ocean Course
Head south of the border to what Golf Digest and Golf Magazine both have called the “best course in Mexico.” Finely sculpted along the Sea of Cortez “with the inspiration of a Rodin” (The Golfer, 1995 Yearbook), the Ocean Course presents seven holes directly on the ocean including what Jack Nicklaus has described as “the three finest finishing holes in all of golf.” And why not? It was designed by Jack himself.
Casa de Campo, Teeth of the Dog
Ranked as the number one course in the Caribbean, and one of the best in the world, this island course is nothing short of a pilgrimage from the bluffs atop Casa de Campo down to the sea. The architect lays claim to 11 of the holes, and credits “The Man Upstairs” with the 7 breathtaking ocean-front holes. “Teeth” was designed by the master golf course architect Pete Dye together with his wife, LPGA Hall of Famer Alice Dye.
Fairmont Banff Springs
If you can’t be skiing on a frosty winter weekend, play golf instead! Situated in the quaint alpine town of Banff in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, Banff Springs winds along the Bow River and offers spectacular views of the majestic mountains above. This is
the wilderness: think moose, elk (wapiti), rocky mountain cougar, and grizzly bear...but not before you’re about to swing! Banff Springs was designed by master golf course architect Stanley Thompson.
Harbour Town
Golf and tradition are natural bedfellows, and that chemistry is on display at this “distinguished golf course [which] places a premium on finesse, imagination and shot-making, rather than strength” (The Seapines Resort). Home of the RBC Heritage on the PGA Tour®, Harbour Town is commonly associated with the iconic lighthouse off the 18th green. It was designed by master golf course architect Pete Dye.
Kettle Creek
If it’s serenity that you are looking for, transport yourself to Cardinal Golf Club’s Kettle Creek Golf Course in Ontario, Canada. This 18 hole, par 58, executive course takes some of the pressure off your game so you can relax and enjoy the natural scenery. It is also ideal if you are pressed for time and want to get a quick round in.
Nicklaus North
Situated along a valley floor with panoramic views of Whistler, Blackcombe, and other Coastal Mountains of British Columbia, Canada, this truly signature course is home to brilliant lakes, majestic fir trees, and spectacular settings. Known especially for its carefully crafted par threes, including the famous 12th hole island green, this course was designed by Jack Nicklaus himself, and is one of the few courses in the world to bear his name.
Pacific Dunes
Well, the ancients would be smiling. This is links golf as they had imagined it to be – rough hewn from a primeval parcel high atop bluffs overlooking the restless ocean. The result is pure enchantment: a rugged coastline of crags and cliffs and pristine beaches, giving rise to a golf course of shore pines, enormous sand dunes, naturally undulating fairways and greens, natural bunkers, and fescue and gorse. In this setting, the fairways and the greens merge in seamless transition, enabling the use of the flat stick from many greenside fairway lies. It was designed by Tom Doak.
Pebble Beach
It is little wonder why Pebble Beach is the #1-selected course at Baylinks® Golf. It is also the #1-rated public course in America by Golf Digest and the #1-rated “course you can play in the U.S.” by Golf Magazine. This crown jewel on California’s Monterey Peninsula offers spectacular ocean views, dramatic cliffs, and legendary footsteps on the way to some of the greatest moments in golf history. Pebble Beach has played host to five U.S. Open Championships, and will do so again in 2019. It was designed by Jack Neville and Douglas Grant, and re-designed in part by Jack Nicklaus.
PGA National, The Champion
This golf mecca resides year-round in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, and plays host to the annual Honda Classic on the PGA Tour®. No stranger to guests, it has also welcomed the 1983 Ryder Cup, the 1987 PGA Championship, and almost twenty years of PGA Seniors’ Championships. While the Champion is a warm and gracious host, it also is a study in contradistinction: on the one hand, generous fairways and spacious greens; on the other, water hazards on 16 out of 18 holes, over 100 bunkers, and arguably the toughest three-hole (15th, 16th, and 17th) stretch in golf, the fabled “Bear Trap.” The Champion was designed by Tom and George Fazio, and later re-designed by Jack Nicklaus.
Pinehurst No. 2
Who can ever forget Payne Stewart’s winning putt on the 18th hole of the 1999 U.S. Open Championship to beat Phil Mickelson at Pinehurst? (The next day’s headline, Payne and Glory, is memorialized in our Club Suite.) This celebrated course has hosted more single golf Championships than any other course in America, and is slated to host the 2014 U.S. Open and the 2014 U.S. Women’s Open Championships in consecutive weeks. The course on our system was designed by Donald Ross. At this time it does not include the recent restorations completed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw in 2011.
Princeville Golf, The Price Course
“Welcome to Hawai’i! E komo mai o Hawai’i!” This stunningly beautiful course will captivate you while you play the Royal and Ancient Game on the Royal and Ancient Island of Kaua’i. With breathtaking views of the clear blue Pacific Ocean coinciding with awe-inspiring views of the green lush mountains, this is golfing in paradise. Well, sort of. The challenging, hilly terrain (did we understate the deep jungle ravines?) and indigenous hazards (how about a waterfall?) require careful shot planning and placement to avoid trouble along the way. But if you maintain “The Aloha Spirit” throughout your round, you will take these challenges and your game in stride...and enjoy peace, happiness, and prosperity (well, at least the winner will :) The Prince was designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr.
Rich Harvest Farms Links
This 18-hole privately owned golf course located in Sugar Grove, Illinois (about an hour west of downtown Chicago), was built over time in a land of wetlands, stately trees, and Illinois prairie grasses. But all is not pastoral in these parts. Look out for the hideously narrow chute out of the tee box at Hole No. 4, Devil’s Elbow. Rich Harvest Farms played host to the 2009 Solheim Cup (the women’s counterpart to the Ryder Cup). It was designed by Greg Martin and Jerry Rich (the owner).
Spyglass Hill
Another of the distinguished Pebble Beach Resorts® golf courses, this course is as challenging as it is breathtaking. From sandy dunes by the sea to majestic pines in the Del Monte Forest, together with scenic ocean views and inland lakes, Spyglass is a oneof-a-kind experience. It is co-host of the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am, and was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr., with the assistance of his son, Robert Trent Jones, Jr.
St. Andrew’s, The Old Course
Universally recognized as “the home of golf,” the tract which came to be known as The Old Course at St. Andrews Links hosted the 1st round of golf ever played around 1400 A.D. Its iconic burns and bunkers are the ghost nets of lore and legend spanning 28 Open Championships. And who isn’t moved by the immortal images of golf’s greatest players bidding the grande dame an emotional farewell from the stone-arched Swilcan Bridge on the 18th hole? This royal public course was not designed by any mere mortal; rather, it has evolved over centuries from the primal seaside terrain that gave birth to the game we all love.
Torrey Pines, The South Course
This holy grail of municipal golf located high above the Pacific Ocean in La Jolla, San Diego, California, beckons everyone to enjoy its deep ravines, majestic bluffs, and panoramic ocean views, all while playing on a great golf course. This was the scene of the 2008 U.S. Open, where Tiger Woods outlasted Rocco Mediate on the 91st hole of the match. It also hosts the Farmers Insurance Open on the PGA Tour®. Torrey Pines was originally designed by William P. Bell and his son, William F. Bell, and was redesigned in 2001 by Rees Jones, who also designed Lookaway Golf Course in nearby Buckingham, PA.
TPC Blue Monster at Doral
The name alone sends shivers down your spine. A consummate host to prestigious PGA Tour® events including the WGC-Cadillac Championship, the Blue Monster in Miami, Florida, is a supreme test of both length and finesse on a golf course. If you make it through this land of ferocious fairways, perilous ponds, and beguiling bunkers, the landmark fountain on the 18th hole will splash in celebration. The Blue Monster was designed by Dick Wilson.
Troon North
Think of Mother Nature getting a manicure. This visually-stunning course polishes the rugged natural landscape of the Sonoran Desert in Scottsdale, Arizona with immaculate fairways, bunkers, and greens. The challenging layout winds around giant granite boulders, surreal desert vegetation, and stately saguaros (those very large cactuses with upward-curving branches). The Monument Course was designed by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish.
Woodington Lake, The Legend Course
Another of our great Canadian courses, Woodington Lake, The Legend Course, meanders through the lush rolling terrain around its namesake, past towering pines, open meadows, and spring-fed streams and ponds. Signature features are its notable elevation changes, large undulating greens, and beautiful finishing hole right beside the lake.
Quail Hollow
Host of the Wells Fargo Championship on the PGA Tour, this pride of Charlotte, NC, will also host the PGA Championship in 2017
and the President's Cup in 2021. Its 18th hole, the capstone of the arduous 3-hole stretch known as "The Green Mile," is widely
regarded as one of the toughest finishing holes in all of golf. Quail Hollow was designed by George Cobb and later re-crafted by
Arnold Palmer and Tom Fazio.
